Thank you for visiting the Trailside website to find out more about our church family, and our desire to be the community’s church in south Sarasota. I use the words ‘community’ and ‘family’ as I describe the congregation at Trailside, It's a warm, inviting, and eager fellowship of believers who want to bring the love of Jesus Christ into our evergrowing and changing surroundings. Born in 1967 as Presbyterian Church of the Covenant, in 2025 we began the process of changing our name to reflect our location and our desire to be more than a “religious” building in south Sarasota. Our goal is to become a church that's an integral partner to you – the people, the organizations, and the businesses who reside here.

We are a Bible-based, Christ-focused congregation, committed to following Jesus and being transformed by Him. We strive to embrace, inspire, nurture, and serve, by living out our Christian faith, God’s world, the community and each other. No matter what your denominational background is, everyone is welcome at Trailside. If you are unchurched, were burned by the church, or are a steadfast attendee, you have found a home at Trailside Community Church. When you get here, we expect that you will meet the Lord and hope you will be compelled to commit your life anew to Jesus Christ and your journey of spiritual transformation. Come as you are and expect to seek and find Christ. While you're looking around our website, we hope you’ll get a glimpse of what we do. Maybe even check out a service online.
